The founder had a clear vision and a gap in the market. We turned it into a full product — design, development, and launch.
The project
Melissa Samuels came to us with a clear problem: schools running fundraisers — fun runs, walk-a-thons, read-a-thons — were being nickel-and-dimed by every platform on the market. Platform fees, setup costs, limited customization. The experience for parents was clunky. The experience for organizers was a nightmare.
She wanted something better. We built it.
"SixtySix Technologies developed our platform from scratch and made it better than we could ever imagine." — Melissa Samuels, Founder of GoPledge
What we built
Students and classes see where they rank in real time — updated as pledges come in. We built this specifically because competition drives participation, and participation drives fundraising totals.
After the event, the platform automatically follows up with donors to collect what was pledged — without any manual effort from the school. This was a major pain point we solved from day one.
Each student gets a personal fundraising page they can share directly with family. We designed these to be fast, mobile-friendly, and easy to give through.
Per-lap, per-unit, or flat donations — built to match how different events are structured, so the platform works for any fundraiser format.
A feature we came up with during discovery: families with multiple kids can split one donation across all of them. Reduces friction for the most common donor scenario in this space.
Real-time campaign analytics — donations, participation rates, pledge collection status — so whoever is running the event always knows exactly where things stand.
The result
We didn't just implement a spec — we asked hard questions during discovery, suggested features that weren't in the original brief, and pushed back when something didn't serve the actual user.
The result is a platform that's faster, cleaner, and more capable than anything else in the school fundraising space. And because we built it right the first time, it's easy to maintain and extend.
We built GoPledge from an idea into a live platform. Tell us what you're trying to build and we'll figure out how to get there.
